Oberflacht Lyre
Description
Germanic lyre based on one from Oberflacht, VI century.
The only original one was destroyed when the alcohol, it was being preserved in, was consumed by Russian soldiers during the liberation of Germany in WWII. The other exists as just fragments.
No resonance holes.
The whole body made of sycamore.
Tailpiece and bridge made of sycamore.
Ashtree pegs.
